
Kara Ary received her BA degree from University of Houston. She started her training as a dancer at the high school for the performing and visual arts. She studied at Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive. She also studied at the Bates Dance Festival in the summer and performed in the Faculty Gala. She received recognition as the outstanding student in dance from UH School of Theatre and Dance in 2006. She performed as a corpse dancer for Houston Grand Opera’s Aida in 2007. This is her first year dancing with 6 Degrees. She has performed choreography by Teresa Chapman, Julie Fox, with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group, Psophonia Dance Company (Sophia Torres), Becky Valls, and Suchu Dance Company (Jennifer Wood). Kara is also currently a member with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group and has been for seven seasons. 
Teresa Chapman is an assistant professor at the University of Houston where she teaches modern dance, aesthetics, choreography, and pedagogy. As a performer, she currently dances with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group, 6 Degrees (Toni Valle), and Vault (Amy Ell). In the past she has performed with various artists in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC (Liz Lerman Dance Exchange), and New York (KDNY). Teresa is also an independent dance maker. Her work has been presented at DiverseWorks Art Space, Big Range Dance Festival, High school for the Performing and Visual Arts, and the Cunningham Studios in New York City to name a few. Universities including University of Nebraska, West Virginia University, UC Santa Barbara, and Bucknell have commissioned her work. Teresa received her M.F.A. in dance from California State University, Long Beach. 
Jenny Dodson received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Houston where she was a member of the UH Dance Ensemble. She was presented the University of Houston award for excellence in choreography and her work was showcased at the American College Dance Festival. After graduation, Jenny had the opportunity to study dance abroad in London and has since worked with many talented dance companies and choreographers in the Houston area, including Suchu Dance Company, Psophonia Dance Company, with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group, Becky Valls, Leslie Scates and Sara Draper. Jenny is delighted to be a part of the premier performance of 6 Degrees. 
Kristi Farr received her BBA from the University of Houston in 2007. However, her love and passion for dance and teaching has kept her out of the corporate world thus far. She currently lives with her wonderful husband Matt in Pearland and teaches for a studio in Friendswood. Kristi has performed works of Teresa Chapman, Victoria Loftin, Michelle Manzanales, Suzanne Oliver and Becky Valls at venues such as The Weekend Of Contemporary Dance, Big Range Dance Festival, and the National American College Dance Festival in Washington, D.C. This is Kristi's first time working with Toni Valle and is really excited to be a part of her company! 
Michelle Garza is currently a student at the University of Houston School of Theatre and Dance Program. In 2004, she graduated from the Vidal M. Trevino Magnet School of Communications and Fine Arts in Laredo, TX. She has performed with the Laredo Ballet Theatre Company, and the University of Houston Dance Ensemble. In 2009, she received recognition as the outstanding student in dance from the University of Houston. She has trained and performed the choreography of Teresa Chapman, Karen Stokes, john r. stronks, Leslie Scates, Jackie Nallet, and Cristina Greco. Michelle is excited for having this wonderful opportunity to work with 6 Degrees. 
Mallory Horn has been pursing her BA in Dance at the University of Houston for the past three years. While studying there she has had the opportunity to be a member of the UH Ensemble and Young Audience Touring Company for a year and a half. In 2009 she received an award for Recognition in Choreography from UH School of Theatre and Dance. She most recently performed in Becky Valls’s Memoirs of the Sisterhood Chapter 2: House and Catalina Molnari’s Why Do We Need Extra Buttons? Mallory is also a member of Freneticore. She is very excited to be apart of the Vault 6 Degrees show! 
Catalina Molnari is a native of Bogota, Colombia. She holds a BA in Theater and Dance from the University of Houston, where she performed with the UH Dance Ensemble. She has also trained at the Instituto Superior de Arte in La Habana, Cuba, and at various national and international festivals. Her choreography has been seen at ACDFA, Big Range Dance Festival, San Jacinto College, DiverseWorks’12 MinutesMax, and HopeWerks, Hope Stone, Inc.'s young artist residency program. Catalina has danced with varios artists in Bogota, La Habana, and Houston including Chrysalis, Psophonia Dance Company, Dancepatheatre, Suchu Dance with whom she perform at Jacobs Pillow, Mechelle Flemming, Teresa Chapman, Leslie Scates, and Houston Grand Opera. Currently, Catalina teaches and performs with Toni Valle, Amy Ell/Vault, Dancepatheatre, with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group, and soon will begin her first season with Hope Stone Dance. 
Erica Okoronkwo graduated from the University of Houston where she received her BA in Theatre/Dance; she also obtained her MBA in Finance from the University of St Thomas. While attending UH, she was a member of the UH Dance Ensemble, awarded the Most Outstanding Dancer Award and was recipient of the Joanna Freison Dance Scholarship. She has had the opportunity of working with many choreographers and companies including: Chrysalis Dance Company, Teresa Chapman, Dancepatheatre, Amy Ell, Julie Fox, Psophonia Dance Company, Rebecca Valls, Sandra Organ Dance Company and with Karen Stokes in Travesty Dance Group. This is her 3rd season dancing with Toni Valle. On a more personal note, Erica recently got married November 2009. 
Bianca Torres-Aponte has been dancing since she was 5. She trained a few months of ballet with Roxanne Claire, Claire School of Dance, before switching to hip hop. Bianca has been hip-hop dancing for 4 1/2 years, and was a Fly Kid, under Mike and Kathy Wood. Bianca starred as the Inner Child in Ms. Valle's third evening-length work, Tetris, and is happy to return in Ms. Valle's premiere of 6 Degrees. 
Joani Trevino has studied dance at San Jacinto College-South, Texas Woman's University and University of Houston. Currently, Joain is a member of the dance companies Vault and 6 Degrees is a performer with Young Audiences of Houston. She also teaches dance to children at a local dance studio and works as a Biology professor at San Jacinto College-South.
